11 Light is shed upon the righteous
and joy on the upright in heart.
12 Rejoice in the LORD, you who are righteous,
and praise his holy name.

My Prayer: Almighty Father of all creations, today I give thanks for Your bounty and rejoice in remembrance of Your holiness. This is a day of celebration and song, of joyfulness and sunshine – a day You made for our enjoyment. Help us forget the cares of this world for today; fill our hearts with light as Your blessings fall upon us and we grow closer to You dear Lord this day I pray in Jesus’ name. Amen
