Prayer Is Not Mysterious

No mysterious etiquette is necessary to open up the rich joys of prayer. The desire to pray itself is all we need to start.

Augustine once wrote, “We approach God through love, not navigation”.

It is not through charts, lists and abstracts, but with a simple, willing heart. In our seeking we will be found. In our reaching we will be met. Prayer begins with whoever we are, wherever we may be, as well as whatever we can give. Talking to God as simple as it can lead to a relationship beyond what we ever could think possible.

My prayer is: Help us Lord to turn toward you, and in our turning, find that you have turned toward us all along. Amen

“Lord you stir (us) to take pleasure in praising you, because you have made us for yourself, and our heart is restless until it rests in you”. Augustine

Your Father knows what you need before you ask Him. Matt 6:8
