Prayer

When we weave the habit of prayer into the very fabric of our days, we invite God to become a partner in every aspect of our lives. As we consult God we benefit from His wisdom, strength and love. Instead of turning things over to our minds, today let’s try to turn them over to God in prayer. Let’s decide to allow God to lead the way instead of worrying about out next decision. We need to pray constantly about things great and small and know that God is listening and wants to hear from us.

A Prayer

Lord, your holy word commands us to pray without ceasing. When we are discouraged, let us pray. When we are lonely, let us take our sorrows to you. When we grieve let us take our tears to you, Lord in prayer. When we are joyful let us offer up thanksgiving. In all things great and small, at all times, whether happy or sad, may we rejoice as we seek Your wisdom and Your Grace…..in prayer.
