Sage's Faith (Childlike Faith)

Psalm 8:2 (New International Version)
2 From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise because of your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger.

Psalm 8:2 (New Living Version)
2 You have taught children and infants to tell of your strength, silencing your enemies and all who oppose you.

Children are able to trust and praise God without doubt or uncertainties As we grow older…many of us find it more and more difficult to do so. I ask God Almighty to give you childlike faith, removing any barriers that may prevent you from having a closer walk with Him. It is good to get in touch with our childlike quality that is within ourselves in order to become more opened in believing the promises from the Lord.

Sage’s Faith

Sage was chosen to be on the cover of a cancer magazine for “Kourageous” kids. He gave a speech in front of 200 people yesterday and said that Jesus died and rose again and now he lives in his heart...evangelist in the making! If you look at the picture of him and Makayla you can see how much better he is! PRAISE HIM!!! GLORY

Sage was diagnosed with cancer about a year ago. When my sister told me the news she was a complete mess. I told her that Jesus had already paid the price for him to be healed and I told her that I had peace and knew that he would be fine. She in turn told Sage that he was diagnosed with cancer and he would be in the hospital a lot but that Jesus was healing him.

This kid went through chemo, radiation, and was in and out of the hospital with infections and blood transfusions for the entire year. Too much for anyone to go through but especially a 3-4 yr old.

Through the entire ordeal he had faith in what his mother told him. He KNEW that Jesus was healing him. He confessed the entire year that "Jesus is in my heart and he is healing me". So full of faith! This is the childlike faith that the bible teaches us. He never doubted or questioned it, He just knew that he was healed and confessed it to family, friends, doctors and nurses.

I can only imagine what my nephew will accomplish for the glory of God in his lifetime. I pray that God will continue to put people in his life that will sow God's Word into his heart and pray that the Word will grow and produce fruit in his life.
